Dear Friends,
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost”. These were Christ's final words to His Church, final things are lasting things. When a man speaks what he knows to be his last words he weighs each word carefully. With that one word in His heart He sat down upon the throne, expecting, longing, that every man, woman, and child would hear the good news.
If you had an opportunity to ask Christ the question, “Have you any message to give me for your people?” His answer would go something like this. “Tell them in my name to remember my last words which I spoke to them.” Tell them that I carry the burden for every creature, for which I gave My blood, and My love, and My heart. Tell them, that I want them to do the same. Tell them that I am on the throne to send forth the Spirit into all the earth. Tell them to believe My promise, yield completely to My Spirit, and victory will surely come. Tell them that I am longing for more intercession and supplication from them, for more prayer and faith.
These final words of Jesus must become a fresh revelation to our hearts. They must take on a new meaning now. Does not the fact that the local churches, as a whole, are not willing to undertake the glorious task of bringing God's love to every creature disturb you? This lack of loyalty to the Lord Jesus, and terrible weakness in prayer, should move every God called man to weeping and repentance. If we will take these final words of Christ and truly let them live in our heart as they live in His heart we will have found the secret of irresistible power.
I am well aware of the financial crash, the political confusion, the threat of war, and the spiritual darkness that covers the earth. I am also aware that such a time affords you and me, the elect of God, our greatest opportunity to test the resources of God. This is not the time to draw back in fear and unbelief, but this is the time for you and me to move in a daring faith that borders on madness.
Christ's final word “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” only awaits our willingness to will to do His will. We have the tool, the School of Christ; we have the personnel that are ready to go; your generous gift will make it happen.
His bondservant,
