Benin Report
by Stephen Cartwright SOC Director
SOC in Benin, West Africa
Just wanted to let you know, I returned from Benin, West Africa. It was a great school of Christ. The school was started in a town about two hours drive north of Cotonou (the capital) called Pobe. The majority of the pastors who came spoke either French or Yoruba (a tribal language with a small amount of English inter-twined).
We used the School of Christ videos of Pastor Clendennen when he taught the School in Cameroon in September 2002. This was our first School, and we will be going back and running the second school at Benin in July.
We had one pastor who came from Cameroon, and is going back to set up a School of Christ there that will be running next month in July. Keep this great work in prayer.
God Bless,
Stephen Cartwright
