India Update

In October of 2009 we ran a School of Christ in Lucknow, North India. We challenged the students to go out and reach people that had never heard the good news of Jesus Christ. The area of land that is on the India Nepal boarder has about 100 million people that have never heard the name of Jesus. It is the most holy place for Hindu's as this is where the Ganges river flows. It is believed to be Holy by Hindu's and the people are very strong for their faith. For this reason alone very little missions is done there. Also it is nearly 120 degrees in the summer.

In October of 2010 I went back to the same area that I was last year and I would like to report that our students have planted 5 new churches. These Churches are in area's where the Gospel has never been. Through many difficultys our students have preached in 21 villages where the name of Jesus has never been preached. Not only are they preaching in word but mighty signs and wonders are following. One man with Tuberculosis was instantly healed in the prayer line. In one of the village a woman came forward while our student was preaching and asked for prayer. When the minister prayed a demon was exposed. After a minute the devil was cast out and the woman set free! At seeing this 8 families came to Christ in that village. These are the mighty workings of the Spirit of God. Please pray as we continue to shine the Light of the Gospel in darken lands.
